Relay for Life Brunch
On the morning of April 27th, Slivkans enjoyed brunch while watching Sunday morning cartoons in the rec lounge. This was to raise money for Relay for Life.
RCB Sporcle Tournament
On Saturday April 26th, a group of Slivkans participated in an annual RCB tradition – Sporcle! This tournament was held for members of all residential colleges across campus.
Origami
On April 23rd, Slivkans gathered in the rec lounge to make a variety of origami items! These included flowers, cranes, frogs, and much more!
Even more perlers!
Slivkans continue to make cute plastic trinkets out of perler beads. Many Slivkans make large projects that take multiple perler events to complete!
IM Sports: Dodgeball
Slivka participates in many intramural sports throughout the year. Over the last few years, Slivka has grown to be a powerhouse in many of these sports, including dodgeball.
Lincoln Park Zoo!
On Saturday, April 19th, a group of Slivkans went to the Lincoln Park Zoo to see the cute animals!
Pi Day!
On March 14th, Slivkans enjoyed eating pie in the rec lounge while reciting digits of pi. The winners of the pi digit competition then went outside to pie other Slivkans in the face.
Dance Marathon 2014
An annual tradition of Northwestern, Dance Marathon is a fundraiser that raises money for a different charity each year. This year, Northwestern raised nearly $1.4 million for Team Joseph. For more information, visit the NUDM website.
Cookie Baking
On Monday March 10th, Slivkans gathered in the rec lounge to bake and decorate cookies! As part of reading week, this event helped Slivkans take a break from studying for finals.
